Actress Bhumi Pednekar revealed many similarities in real life with her character in the film ‘Dolly Kitty or Woh Chamakte Sitare’, directed by Alankrita Srivastava. The actress found a long-lost scrapbook of her school, as well as her memories.
Bhoomi said, “There is so much time in hand that you can organise cluttered things and this thing applies not only to your place, but also to your mind. I clean a box in my old house and I got a scrapbook from my school! My first DVD audition tape! That was from my acting college, my first script, which I wrote! It was very emotional.”
She said, “My character in the film ‘Dolly Kitty or Woh Chamakte Sitare’ is similar to that of the real life, and this moment was very unnatural! As an artist you have relived many moments of life and that’s the reason why I love cinema!”
On the lockdown she said, “The first week was very strange. My room is on the road and usually there is always noise on the road, but now there is a lot of peace here. Gradually birds started chirping there in two-three days. The first week of the lockdown was quite strange, I mean, whatever we used to do, we used to mention the virus. We still do, but now we have found a way to deal with it.”
