Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in a senior scientist of the Indian Council of Archaeological Research (ICMR). Sources said that after knowing about this, the entire building of ICMR is being sanitized, whereas the Mumbai scientist came to Delhi a few days ago and was confirmed infected on Sunday morning.
The scientist is from the National Reproductive Health Research Institute of ICMR, Mumbai. A source said that the ICMR building would be transition-free and fumigated for two days, whereas the scientist attended a meeting last week which was attended by ICMR Director General Dr. Balaram Bhargava and others. Sources said that the administration has sent a message to the employees and appealed to them to work from home as the work to make transition-free to ICMR headquarters is going on.
The message said, “Only the main team of Covid-19 can come when it is very important and others should only work from home.”
