The elder brother allegedly killed the younger brother because the elder brother had gone to the market with his wife in lockdown. The younger brother was preventing them from going out. There was a debate between the two about getting out of the house. A 28-year-old man was arrested for murder. The police gave this information on Thursday 26 March.

# What happened?
The case of Samta Nagar police station in Mumbai is being reported. Rajesh Thakur allegedly killed his younger brother Durgesh on Wednesday night due to an argument over leaving the house despite warnings about the lockdown. The deceased worked in a private firm in Pune. He lost his job in the lockdown caused by the Corona virus and returned home.
Both lived in Pashupatinath Chawl near Siddhivinayak Maidan. Rajesh, his wife and his younger brother Durgesh were living here, while his parents live in the village. Durgesh returned to Pune and came to his brother a few days ago. Rajesh works in a nearby salon.
Police said that when Rajesh came back home from outside, Durgesh expressed his displeasure and then a heated argument ensued. After this, the accused attacked him with something sharp. Durgesh was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead. A case of murder has been registered against the accused.
The corona virus is spreading fast in Maharashtra. So far, 130 cases have been reported here. Near Kolhapur, 12 people of the same family have been found to be corona virus positive.
