Manish Sisodia got a strong fight with Ravi Negi of BJP on this seat. Manish Sisodia was behind Negi in the first several rounds. I know the round wise. Ravi Negi was leading till the 10th round but Manish Sisodia beat him in the 11th round and maintained the lead after that.
Who is Ravi Negi who sweats on Manish Sisodia’s forehead?
In view of the hill voters, BJP fielded Ravi Negi from here. Besides being a hill, Negi is a local resident here. Ravi Negi is originally from Uttarakhand. The 2017 Municipal Corporation election was filled but the form was canceled. Negi contested assembly elections for the first time and gave a tough fight to the Chief Minister of Delhi.
Manish Sisodia had earlier defeated BJP’s Vinod Kumar from this seat by 28,761 votes in 2015. In 2013, Manish Sisodia defeated BJP’s Nakul Bhardwaj by 11,476 votes from this seat.
2015 vs 2020 election
In the 2015 assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party won 70 of the 70 seats in Delhi. The Bharatiya Janata Party had won 3 seats. Congress’s account could not be opened either.
