The Indian cricket team is on a tour of New Zealand. The five-match T20I series is underway. India has won the series winning the first three matches. The team won the first two matches in Auckland. After this, India also won the match held in Hamilton on 29 January.

Now India had to score 10 runs on the last two balls to win. Rohit won the match to India by hitting long sixes on both these balls.

It was the seventh time in T20I that New Zealand has played a super over. The Kiwi team has lost five of these times. New Zealand’s record in Super Overs made a lot of headlines. Even his sports minister trolled his own team on this matter.

With this victory, India won the T20I series for the first time in New Zealand. The fourth match of the series will be played in Wellington on 31 January.
