Meanwhile, after the commencement of the operation of trains, the discussion about the operation of buses and metro services has intensified. Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot will also hold a meeting with Metro officials on Friday to start operating the metro.

Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot says that after the lockdown-3 ends on May 17, the central government guidelines will be followed. We are preparing an action plan right now. If permission is received from the central government, work will also be done to run the Delhi Metro. This has also been discussed in the cabinet meeting of Delhi government.

The Delhi government is preparing to run public transport in Lockdown-4. On Wednesday, he had video conferencing with Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) officials. Kailash Gehlot has sought an action plan from DTC officials to run buses with a capacity of 50 percent.

Earlier on Wednesday, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, while presenting his side in the webinar, said in response to a question that it will be the decision of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi to restart Delhi’s transport services in lockdown.
